Meet Mugsy! Mugsy was reported to the rescue after their owner left to hospital and didn’t return. After 8 months of living inside a house with another dog and cat, a neighbour noticed the dogs were losing weight and not being cared for. The dogs had broken through a window and were letting themselves out for bathroom. Other neighbours would throw food over the fence but no one spoke up. Freedom Fur arrived immediately after being notified by the community. Mugzy does not seem to be phased by her past and is full of love and affection. She loves to chase sticks, play in the water sprinklers and goof around with the other animals at the rescue. Mugzy is familiar with her basic commands and would be well suited in a home with other dogs or kids. Although she does have experience with cats, she can be a chaser and sometimes unliked by them.
