Meet Eve, Eve was rescued from one of the most heart wrenching cruelty cases in Chattam, Ontario. Eve, from the early days of her life till the age of 2 has only known loneliness, darkness and neglect. This sweet girl was locked in a cage in a shed in a barn with very minimal human contact. Not only was she deprived of human love and attention but she was also deprived of basic sun light. Eve never saw light in almost 2 years. Being on grass, a human finger a dog treat we’re all foreign to her. She was rescued by Freedom Fur Rescue who dropped everything and drove 2hrs at midnight to save Eve from her life of misery. Due to never being let out of a cage and allowed to walk, she had very limited use of her back legs and could barely walk much without collapsing. Despite the abuse Eve has endured she has remained sweet, loving and playful. She loves people, other dogs and really just about everything life has to offer. Due to her lack of stimulation in her formidable years, Eve requires extra TLC to help get her on the road to recovery and leaving her past behind her. She is living proof of how forgiving and resilient dogs really are and looks forwards to finding the love she never got to have in her new forever home.
